System Requirements

While our goal is to get Tori running on low end hardware as best as possible, we still have some system requirements for your game to launch and have a playable experience.

We will not support out of date hardware and provide assistance with hardware that doesn't meet minimum requirements. The mods we provide, as well as our own tweaks and launcher are designed to make use of newer technologies to achieve a good and stable Minecraft experience.

We can't provide FPS estimates based on your hardware. There are too many factors in play and we can't possibly predict the performance you will get with your setup.

Tori Client does not, and never will support Windows 7, 8, or 8.1. These Windows versions are out of support and you should upgrade to avoid security risks and more issues down the line. You can use this tool from Microsoft to upgrade to Windows 10.

Minimum Requirements

Keep in mind that additional tweaks or setup may be required for the game to even launch. These are the bare minimum to get the game to open with a somewhat playable experience. Be mindful of other open apps on your computer, which may take up a lot of resources and not leave much for Minecraft to work with.

• A dual core CPU with clock speeds of 2.0 GHz or higher with decent single core performance
  • Intel Core i3-3210 (or equivalent Ivy Bridge/Haswell i3) or newer
  • AMD FX-4100 (or equivalent Quad-Core FX/Phenom II X4) or newer
• 4 GB RAM
• 5 GB of free space on your drive
• A GPU with up to date drivers that supports OpenGL 4.5, as listed in Sodium's hardware requirements (anything released in the last 12 years should work fine)
  • AMD Radeon HD 7000 Series (GCN 1) or newer
  • NVIDIA GeForce 400 Series (Fermi) or newer
  • Intel HD Graphics 500 Series (Skylake) or newer
• A stable internet connection

Recommended Requirements

These are the recommended requirements for a smooth experience out of the box with no additional tweaks.

• Windows 10 or higher (Other platforms coming soon! Don't worry, we didn't forget about you)
• A CPU with at least 4 cores and good single core performance, such as modern mid-range CPUs
  • Intel Core i5-8400 (or equivalent Coffee Lake i5/i7) or newer 
  • AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (or equivalent Zen/Zen+ Ryzen) or newer
• 16 GB DDR4 RAM
• 25 GB of free space on your drive
• A GPU with up to date drivers that supports OpenGL 4.5
